in shed. one of 2 found under a coverboard. the second one was not in shed and escaped.
same individual as https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/150983431. Found under the same coverboard as two weeks ago. Had some marks on its belly that were probably there last time (photo 2), but I only noticed them today. They are likely blisters from brumation, and the snake is likely getting ready to shed its skin under this board.
Found out on the crawl at a grassland/oak woodland transition zone (was heading towards the oak woodland). Immediately coiled up and started rattling.
I saw a rabbit on someone’s front lawn. When it saw me it hid in the plants/bushes.
