-Leaves have a smaller base, long and meet at a tip with colors in dark green and some yellowing from other organisms eating and changing the structure of the leaves.
-Leaves and branches grow in a alternating pattern, within large clusters

This specie is typically grown roadside, along with other of its similar species. Here you can see that branches extend away from the base of the shrub. If you look even closer, you can see the smooth texture of the bark, slowly getting rougher as you move down the branch, towards the base of the shrub. Also, the dried up leafs at the tips (Some also along the side of the branch) seem to be at the verge of falling out due to the weather in its current environment.
When you look at the close-up picture of the shrub, you can see that the individual branch(es) get skinnier as they extend out to the open. As you look closer, you can also see smaller twigs that stick out from branch(es) that have little buds at the end of them like the ones of the 'Populus Deltoides'. Take note that some did not have the bud ends but instead they had individual leafs like ones of the Ulmus.

This tree appears to have smooth bark all around. It is distinct from other trees as the branches have a different type of outer bark layer compared to the trunk of the tree itself. A closer look into the surface of the trunk reveals that the bark is smooth and connected, unlike other trees which have jagged bark sticking out from the trunk. In total, there were 9 trees within the area observed with a height of about 15-25 ft each.
Dasiphora fruticosa
upright to sprawling, many long branches, covered in little silver hairs
Medium size shrub with gray bark and red colored bark in some areas, wih buds located along the end branches
Less than a meter tall. Has long thin branches with small white/cream colored buds and no leaves in the winter. In the summer bright yellow flowers with dark green leaves appear.
A medium sized tree with rough bark, leaves fall off in the winter, but some leaves stay but wither. The leaves left on the shrub are small, brown blade like and left in clusters.
Specimen is a clustered stemmed organism possessing opposite, elliptical shaped, smooth leaves and is approximately 1.5 feet tall.
