Family group of 2 mature adults, 3 teneral adults and 5 larvae from chamber in rotting wood buried just under the soil.
Seen at the start of the track from Jensens Road up Mount Stronach. Pink lumps on a eucalypt leaf, but I have no idea what. The white lumps in the fifth photograph were on the same plant, so I assume related?
Trombidia on glycaspis - leaf river red gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis)
likely acquired at Botanic Gardens earlier in the day
