Visiting pacific bleeding heart (?)
Sleeping in a clump on a checkermallow seed stalk.
Very large bee, looks like if a Bombus were trying to have Xylocopa hair and coloring...? I think it is Bombus but the hair on the abdomen is very sparse.
Lots of yellow jackets and wasps of several species, many fluffy bee flies, and tan true bugs on bushes
The Agapostemon seem to show later in the afternoon to evening. Otherwise the plants have many wasps.
Not all the same individuals. On Ribes aureum.
I cannot be certain these are all the same individual; 3-4 of this species were working this Spanish lavender simultaneously.
