On Wednesday, October 20th, I took another walk in Boston College's Pine Tree Preserve. It was colder than my last walk in the preserve. It was about 57 degrees Fahrenheit or about 13.9 degrees Celcius. Although I enjoyed my afternoon walk, the temperature made it slightly uncomfortable, so I'm making sure to wear gloves on my next walk. I entered with a plan to find Bryophyta, Polupodispida, Gymnosperms, and Angiosperms. I thought, considering the season, it would be hard to find Angiosperms with flowers, but I found two different species, which was nice. I also saw a Gymnosperm that seemed very young compared to the others in the Pine Tree Preserve. So overall, it was a successful and enjoyable walk.

I walked on a trail in Boston College's Newton Campus. The temperature was slightly less than 60 degrees Fahrenheit or about 15.5 degrees Celcius. It was chilly but not too cold to be uncomfortable. On my walk, I took some photos of the fungi I saw. All the fungi I saw looked familiar, but they were still interesting to observe.

I walked on the Boston College Pine Tree Preserve trail that overlooks the Chestnut Hill Reservoir and got to experience a walk in a small natural space. The weather was at about 60 degrees Fahrenheit or about 15 degrees Celcius. On my walk, I saw species that look, for the most part, very familiar to me. The one exception to that was the Jimsonweed I observed. Hopefully, as I continue to take nature walks, I'll be able to see more plants that I do not recognize.
