Γλαύκος ή Μπλε Καρχαρία (Prionace glauca) , - Blue Shark (Prionace glauca)
Βρισκόμαστε εν μέσω καραντίνας και πολλοί θαλάσσιοι οργανισμοί έκανα την εμφάνισή τους στα παράλια περιοχών σε όλη τη Μεσόγειο ως αποτέλεσμα της μειωμένης ανθρώπινης δραστηριότητας. Μεταξύ αυτών και ο Prionace glauca (BSH), Γλαύκος ή Μπλε Καρχαρίας.
Το τελευταίο διάστημα έχουν καταγραφεί πολλές εμφανίσεις του είδους σε παραλιακές περιοχές και σε λιμάνια σε όλη τη Μεσόγειο. Πρόκειται για είδος που ο μεσογειακός πληθυσμός του έχει αξιολογηθεί ως Κρισίμως Κινδυνεύον από την @IUCN Red List of Threatened Species αλλά δυστυχώς δεν υπάρχει κάποιο καθεστώς προστασίας και το είδος να αλιεύεται σε σημαντικό βαθμό και για το εμπόριο των πτερυγίων του.

We are in the middle of quarantine and many marine organisms have appeared on coastal areas throughout the Mediterranean as a result of reduced human activity. These include Prionace glauca (BSH), Blue Shark.
Recently, many individuals of this species have been recorded in coastal areas and in ports throughout the Mediterranean. The population of this species in the Mediterranean has been assessed as Critically Endangered by the UIUCN Red List of Threatened Species but unfortunately, the shark fin trade is still allowed, and thus fishers continue to target sharks for selling their fins.
