I am the conservation and land manager for the Army National Guard in Massachusetts. My professional specialties include conservation planning, landscape scale restoration, pine barrens conservation, birds.

I have particular interest in species of conservation concern. I really enjoy moths and now spend too much time going between photos, iNaturalist, BugGuide, and other lep resources. I especially enjoy finding caterpillars and other wildlife with the kids and otherwise helping them grow as young naturalists.

I've worked as a wildlife conservation biologist in Wyoming, Texas, and Massachusetts. This has given me the benefit of learning from many mentors, managers, and taxa specialists and the opportunity to get to know and love a great variety of ecosystem and faunal diversity.
