Desert rat, field botanist turned New England molecular systematist. Research interests in spring beauties (Claytonia), rock cress (Boechera), Pyrola (by marriage), and catch flies (Silene), as well as bolete systematics (Boletaceae/Boletales). Basically, I love problems of species delimitation and biodiversity estimation.
