I'm a PhD Candidate at SFU researching marine ecology, and I'm a lifelong natural history enthusiast! I'm super excited to track the organisms I see and learn new species. I love marine organisms, which is why I'm one of the admins for the BC Marine project. If I've unhelpfully identified one of your observations as a vascular plant, it's because that's the level at which we're filtering terrestrial plants out of the BC Marine project, and I don't know enough about plants to identify it to species. Sorry!
