I am a self-taught mycologist based in Midcoast Maine. My focus is photographing and documenting rare and overlooked fungi to contribute to Maine's fungal biodiversity record. My observations are mostly from Waldo, Hancock, and Penobscot counties. I am particularly interested in Thelephorales, Polyporales, and Corticiales.

I am a contributing member of the Maine Mycological Association, co-editor of the MMA's newsletter Mainely Mushrooms, a novice microscopist, and macro photographer. I collect mycological literature, and my dream library would have a complete collection of Fungi of Switzerland: 1-6 (I have volumes 1 & 2 so far).
