I've been a general naturalist since I was a child in southern California. After studying birds, mammals, herps and plants, I found my focus with lichens. I am now an Herbarium Associate with the North Carolina Botanical Garden, managing the Herbarium's lichen collection and the lichen checklist for my adopted home state of NC.
