Mac Marzolini is a naturalist and environmentalist both through education and occupation. He has completed a Bachelor's (Honours) in Environmental Resource Studies with a minor in Indigenous Studies at Trent University. Here, he founded the Trent Herpetological Society to help promote a passion for reptiles and amphibians amongst students. After undergrad, he completed a post-graduate in Environmental Visual Communication at Fleming College and the Royal Ontario Museum, before creating a short film on the wildlife of Pelee Island for Wildlife Preservation Canada. Mac has also spent four years as a Species at Risk field biologist for Scales Nature Park, the University of Toronto and the Toronto Zoo's Adopt-A-Pond program. Here, he has worked with rare turtles, blue racers and rattlesnakes amongst many other Species At Risk in Ontario. With a combined background in communications and science, Mac hopes to promote environmentalism and conservation both through photography and film.
