Could any of you more local to the area give me an idea of what to expect from alpine botany that time of year? I assume it's late enough to expect things to be ± snow-free, but have no idea if it's early enough to expect things to be ± snow-free, or if it might just be an inopportune time for botanizing for some other reason.
