use of observation fields

If an observation’s relevance to this project is made self-evident by the photo/photos, great. However, for clarity and ease of accessing information the use of 'Observation Fields’ or notes are encouraged.

Obviously, the more observations using the same "observation fields", the more accessible information will be for exploration and cross comparison. For this reason, here is a list of fields (with descriptions of their purposes) that have, so far, been commonly used. There is unfortunately a fair amount of overlap in several of these fields, but...?

Observation Field - Ecological interactions
Choosing this observation field gives you a drop-down list of a couple dozen preselected interactions to choose from. The use of this observation field should be accompanied by the secondary observation field titled - Associated species with names look up.

an example of its use here - https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/133194799

Observation Field - Linked Observation
Used as shown in example above

Observation Field - other ecological interactions
This observation field offers a drop-down list of interactions not found in the field, Ecological interactions. Its use is the same (choose the drop-down option that fits and follow it up with the field - Associated species with names look up. If you come across an interaction not covered by either of these fields let me know and I will add it to this field.

Observation Field - Host Plant ID
Host of a herbivore or parasite species.

Observation Field - Name of Associated Plant
Please list scientific name of plant visited

Observation Field - Host
Species that is hosting this parasite or mutual/commensal symbiont. Example: tree on which a gall is growing.

Observation Field - Interaction->Flower visited by
This species visited flowers on the observed plant (and possibly pollinated the flowers).
