Grey Comma and Mourning Cloaks out at Malone park trails, and the Mourning Cloak I believe was laying eggs.
3 March, still quite a bit of snow, hearing bird, but not seeing any, first visit of the year, a few tree fungi and moss showing up.
I started this project on 9 Feb, as a a great way to see what's out in the city.
I have identified 7 different primary, and 7 secondary parks and locations to do my observations and photography for the 2021 season.
Space available, I will be pursuing a slot in the Wisconsin Master Naturalist program. Last year we spent a lot of time along the Ice Age Trail and the Waukesha County park system.

Please join the group as the weather comes out of the deep freeze and we can see what shows up around the city.
Please only add observations of wisconsin plants and animals, i.e. nothing from the greenhouses, or pets.
any questions feel free to shoot me a message.
thanks,
