My passion for nature and the outdoors has been lifelong. I love to fish, hike, paddle, explore the natural world, and take photos of what I see along the way. Since I discovered iNaturalist in 2019, I've found it to be a terrific tool for documenting my sightings and learning about the world around me from other nature enthusiasts.

My focuses on iNaturalist have shifted over time; Moths always capture my attention, but Fish, Reptiles, Amphibians, and Birds have been focuses of my outings in the field as of late. I enjoy documenting life forms of any kind, and always am looking to lengthen my "Life List" with a new sighting.

I'm not an expert on any particular taxa, but I do try to be a helpful identifier. Please don't hesitate tag me if you notice an ID of mine that needs to be withdrawn or corrected.
