Habitat Coordinator for the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission.
MSc in Biology specializing in wetland bird ecology, and studied King Rail nesting and breeding ecology in Arkansas for my research. I have been working in wetlands ecosystems since 2016 (Florida Everglades, Illinois, California, Ohio, Delaware, Arkansas). I have worked with a variety of bird species, including raptors and owls, waterfowl and swans, shorebirds, rails (these are my heart birds) and other secretive marshbirds. I love all critters and learning more about the ones I haven't met yet! After taking a herpetology class during my masters, I have a renewed vigor for understanding more about herpetofauna and learning about them!
