@dbltucker @bradenjudson @steveansell -- prolate ribbony fern gametophyte or low energy pellia? On deeply shaded soil of tip up. No sample, Maybe not fern-- midrib seemingly present. But so thin.

Isolated as an endophyte of a Douglas-fir needle, following surface sterilization. Grown on 2% malt + 0.3% yeast extract agar, grown at 20C in the dark
