4th Nature Walk (11/2/2022)

Today, I walked down into the neighborhoods outside of my dorms. While I was on my walk I was trying to find small animals or insects along the hedges of the sidewalk. On my walk, the first thing I saw outside of the door were three turkeys, and it honestly caught me by surprise to see them right there. Later, I was walking down the sidewalk and I was able to find an ant and a salamander on the hedge along the sidewalk on Hammond Street. Also, while walking I was able to spot a squirrel laying down on a branch on a tree and then another tree in the lawn of a house down the street. It was cool to see the magnitude of size the salamander was compared to the squirrel in such a close proximity and makes me wonder about all the other different types of species that are in the area.
