First going through my gall observations and adding information or updating...

Fixing Chamise gall observations:
All my observations of insects associated with Adenostoma https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=any&q=Adenostoma&taxon_id=184884&user_id=hkibak
Most observations of Creosote Bush Bagworm (Thyridopteryx meadii) on iNat are of the distinctive case it constructs as a larva. It has two seasons; the main one Jan-Mar after the first winter rains, and a second one Sep-Oct after summer rains. I think it may be experiencing a population crash. Last year I observed five during the winter season. This year so far I have seen none despite looking at far more creosote bushes. Neither has anyone else. In fact, the last iNat observation was September 5, 2022... (as of 2/21/23). https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/475010-Thyridopteryx-meadii
Downloading data using filter... Here are the attributes I am selecting at first:
user_login
time_observed_at
species_guess
scientific_name
Here is an example using https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=any&quality_grade=research&subview=table&taxon_id=475010
Filters --> Research Grade --> Download
That gets you to the Create Export Query. I uncheck everything (None) and then click back the four attributes I want for now (see above). I may add location later.
Then I select "Create Export" which takes a minute or so.
Then I select "Download" and save the zipped .csv file to Download_Export_Data folder on my Mac.
The file is created, in this case observations-294557.csv.zip which I double click to unzip the .csv file
observations-294557.csv is created, which I rename appropriately, in this case Thyridopteryx_meadii_observations_2023_02_07.csv
I then upload the .csv file to Google Drive iNat/iNat_Export_Data, open, and save as Google Sheet.
