Wild bees

In towns, bees are important indicators when it comes to recognizing where to start best to protect and support what's ever left of nature. Furthermore, they play an important role for the survival of plants: Without them and other pollinators, grass, herbs, flowers, shrubs and trees couldn't have fruit or multiply. Trying to take pictures of insects, I started to realize how many different wild bees there still are in this place. Anyhow, it is difficult to identify them, if you are not a specialist. The pictures, that allow me to have a closer look at what I saw, your suggestions and your support are an important first step. Thank you for all your encouragement and suggestions!

Descripción

12-15 or more of them. The white parts of the faces of the male bees can be seen clearly. Unfortunately they are busy flying: They keep flying very low above and between the grass where it hasn't grown that high, yet. Time and again one of them lands on the slightly moist bare ground. As soon, as it does so, several others come by and chase it away. The are also chasing each other. This goes on and on for at least 15 minutes.
