specimen identified using Flora of Michigan, which only lists 3 species; glabrous leaves and sepals; sharply acuminate calyx tips; up to four other species which are not in the key used, could be possible; several plants in depression in mowed part of urban lawn
I am not certain this photo is the Olive-sided Flycatcher I saw or not, But I did clearly see an Olive sided Flycatcher with its distinctive vest. This appears to be an Olive-sided flycatcher by its white throat, orange base of bill, bill size and shape, GISS.
