In the last photo, the S. candida plants are on the right of the plot, including the plant laying down with the white leaf backs showing in the lower right corner.

Post-bloom stage. One of only two individual plants of this species that I’ve found along Nose Creek or West Nose Creek.

Only known location for this species in AB - patterned fen east of Horseshoe L., Caribou Mtns. Specimen collected under permit for an Alberta Parks inventory project.

Been spotted in area since November 2019.

Might be wishful thinking, but based on the size, nails and shape I’m wondering if this could be a Wolverine? Not the best snow for prints. Remote location near Lake O’Hara

Sorry I didn’t get its head. Appears to be living under my cabbage plant. I guessed salamander but don’t really know this type of critter well.

Found 3 on bike path. 2 dead for sure. This one it's tail moved a bit but probably near dead if the tail didn't move. Hot sunny day

RARE. Juvenile. White wing "windows". White tail band seen from other angles. Yellow beak and legs. Otherwise all brown. Golden nape. Circling slowly west.
