I believe it may be the Black and Gold or Sonoran, but these have 3 yellow stripes on the abdomen.

Species is mostly a guess.

Workers where crowded around a nest opening with a few males. This species had preformed nuptial flights that night.

A breeding pair with 4 eggs. Captured prey including a mouse and a skink.

Several hundred clinging to the upper stems of an isolated brittle bush. I count 43 here and there were 7 other similar clusters.
