Not certain about the gall ID (size: 2 x 1.5cm) or the ID of the host plant, which grows as a thin, smooth, thorny vine with serrate leaves in clusters of 3; blackberry?, bramble?. I stumbled over the vine, breaking it near the gall, a fortuitous sampling technique.
Stem gall on Drymocalllis sp.. I have no idea what kind of gall insect this is
