I originally identified this as Elodes goryi, but reviewers have provided the correct identification, Elodes fusifomis.
Another dead(?) One? :( area was sprayed for termites recently, it seems that might be killing beetles and moths which is... not good.
It's definitely Eleodes but I'm not sure its E. armata because its dorsal surface isn't smooth but has ridges that run lengthwise. Please advise.
