My bad. I had assumed this was a Red-shouldered Hawk because last year a brood of Red-shouldered Hawks was raised in this nest.

So when I saw a large bird on the nest this spring I assumed it was a Red-shouldered Hawk. I did not know that other birds squatted in other species nests (although I have seen it with wrens and chickadees). Which makes me wonder whose nest is it anyway?

The signature orange belly, feathers that darken at the head, and white circle around the eyes tells me it’s a Robin. This one seemed on the younger side it was smaller and thinner than the pictures I’ve seen
I couldn't get a good look at it at the time, but looking at the photo, I think this is a redtail.
