My first time seeing a stylopized bee, on a Andrena milwaukeensis, bee sighting entered here: https://www.inaturalist.ca/observations/215499889
Duplicated from https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/130024606 for this parasite observation
Wasp observation:
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/214587473
Reared from the wasp in photo #2. Took 13 days to eclose, do not know how far along it was when wasp was found, but imagine not very far.
This Andrena dunningi has two Strepsipteran flies
Parasite is small projection between T5 and T6 of the bee
On Andrena sp.: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/204656221
This is a duplicate to ID the insect (wasp?) that is holding onto the abdomen of the bee. My guess is that it is parasitic. The bee seemed stunned and not very responsive to touch.
