Roosevelt High School pine tree
A clan of 8 Wild Turkeys visited adjoining urban backyards. I took photos for about a half hour. Soon after they made their way across the street and the last I saw them, they were standing around figuring out where to head to next.
There were 6-8 smallish raccoons crossing over the parking areas. By time we manuevered the car around, we could only find this one in a tree and, with low light, that is the best photo. I'm sure the others were very close by just hiding better than this guy.
Sharply bi-colored tail
Crow sized.
The hawk was scoping out an area around a bird feeder. After a few minutes, it swooped over and into a bush that almost certainly sheltered some House Sparrows. He chased a small bird out and the two flew off to parts unknown.
There was a decent sized collection of birds visiting a small mudhole - one of a few that are all that's left of Minnehaha Creek which has effectively dried up.
