Sunny 55 degrees F. Habitat was rock talus next to a river. Surrounded by tall bushes and alder trees. Identified based on 8 upper labial scales and other various head scales.
Banded: White 'E35' on Orange Band, Left Leg (reported it). The Laysan was hanging around a fishing vessel with six Black-footed Albatross. Seen from whale-watching tour boat - thank you Blue Ocean Whale Watch.
Large Mouth Bass Anhinga, Everglades National Park,
seen less than one foot under the surface of the Russian River at the boat dock adjacent to the Monte Rio Visitor Center
Dead fish at water's edge. Surprised it's not been at least partially eaten by scavengers.
