Fruiting on rotting log in mixed conifer forest (Pseudotsuga menziesii dominant, Tsuga heterophylla and Thuja plicata also somewhat abundant in this section)
White, orange, brown, and black in color, round but rough texture. Grew on a chopped/fallen over log of tree.
Found on a school trail, a fungi that looks like an oversized nut
Caught on a bolt rig with a pop-up in current.
In mixed Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock, Maple stand. On buried pupa.
