On this plant with painted lady and hairstreak
feasting on lima bean leaves
6 inches in length. Gray in color. Soft texture? Quick moving.
I'm hoping someone can tell a Tawny from a Hackberry Emporer caterpillar.
Found on a tip of a tree branch right in front of my home. I think it maybe be a cicada/leafhopper of some kind. Aproxx 1 cm long and 1/4 cm wide. wings grey with red veins and a white spor near the middle, outer edge of each wing. Back is speckled yellow on black.
