Deuterostome: Visual reference- This Brown Anole was roughly 5 inches from the tip of the nose to the end of the tail. The body is a brown-gray color where there is a lighter strip down the spine and tail. This strip was outlined by a darker brown strip that ran from the base of the head to the base of the tail. Found climbing on a window screen, used nails and padded fingertips which are well suited for climbing, in a residential area in Spring Hill, Fl., where oak trees are surrounding the property.
Habitat- You can find Brown Anoles living in areas with warmer weather as in Florida and some other Southern states like parts of Georgia and Texas. The are abundant in suburban and urdan areas where they will likely be on the ground, in bushes, or even lower on the trunk of trees.
