Seen shortly before leaving Bill Baggs and heading to Crandon Park to continue my City Nature Challenge efforts! I was here after hours with permission and had UV blacklights running from 10PM to sunrise to attract insects (started photographing them at midnight).

Full moon and windy conditions limited how many insects I got (there were almost no mosquitoes, a bad sign when it comes to blacklighting). See link at the bottom for details about my various set ups for the night and my 2024 CNC in general.

Walking around area A at night, mostly looking closely at vegetation for spiders and insects. I had permission to blacklight at Bill Baggs and wanted to give my sheets more time to accumulate insects. Conditions were not ideal as a full moon and windy conditions limited quantity and quality of sheet visitors. There were almost no mosquitoes, a bad sign when it comes to blacklighting!
