This stingray was spotted on the La Jolla Shores Beach in La Jolla, California. It was with another stingray the same kind. The one in this photograph is slightly larger, about 24 to 30 inches from tip of wing to the other tip of wing: the largest stingray i've seen, and I go snorkeling at this beach very often and have never seen one like this.
