Nature Walk 10/18/2022
The nature walk today was through the pine tree reserves. The weather was sunny at a temperature of about 64 degrees. As I began my walk, there was a noticeable amount of wildlife, specifically plants, all around me. I wanted to first take a picture of moss that was growing on a stump in the center of the reserves since, in class, we learned about the classification of mosses and it would be valuable to have an image of one. Later, I decided to capture both the evergreen as well as the pine trees, their subtle differences were something noticeable, yet similar for their survivability. Aside from these, there were various smaller plant species scattered around the area, such as clovers and dandelions. All in all, this nature walk was educational in the way that it revealed the various kinds of plants that exists in a small area and how different characteristics differentiate between the species.
