Beaver Creek BioBlitz and Migratory Bird Census

As part of the Brian Booth State Park BioBlitz, Oregon State Parks Visitor Experience Coordinator Brian Fowler and Yaquina Birders and Naturalists will team up to celebrate the 2017 International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD) at Beaver Creek State Natural Area by offering a guided bird walk. The walk will start at the Beaver Creek Welcome Center at 8:00 a.m. and will take you through the beautiful habitats of the Natural Area where we will encounter Black-headed Grosbeaks, Orange-crowned Warblers and many other songbirds gearing up for the nesting season. Beaver Creek Natural Area is located 7 miles south of Newport Oregon, 1 mile east on N. Beaver Creek Rd. For more information contact Brian Fowler at brian.fowler@oregon.gov or call (503) 428-6737.
