2022 viewings of Fairy Moths in Heathmont
This January I looked out for the tiny Fairy Moths which appeared in good numbers last year, on and over the Bursaria spinosa bush in my garden. Sadly, I saw only one! While I do prune this bush regularly to curb its height, I am careful to leave seedheads in good numbers, and not disturb the fallen litter below.
Hopefully I will see more next year - they are so beautiful, and such a challenge to photograph in flight!
