Where are the financials for past years?

iNaturalist became an independent nonprofit in July of 2023, so this is our first audit. As the years pass, we’ll continue to post more financials here.

Where are your 990s?

We are in the process of completing our first 990 filing and will post it here as soon as it is completed. Prior to July 2023, iNaturalist operated for several years as a joint initiative of the California Academy of Sciences and the National Geographic Society, so those organizations' 990s included iNaturalist operations.
