About Me:
I am a naturalist enthralled with the ocean and the diversity of its inhabitants. I have a BSc in Marine Biology and a certificate in Environmental Impact Assessment from Dalhousie University and I will be starting my MBiol at CSULA working in molecular phylogenetics, species discovery, and ecology of Costasiellidae. I have a keen interest in seaslugs, especially sacoglossans, and spend my free time searching for these tiny creatures while tidepooling, snorkeling, and diving. I also frequently spend time scouring through scientific literature and observations on iNat in order to expand my knowledge of the natural world.
I am currently working on an updated field guide to the marine organisms that inhabit Bermudian waters with over 600 species photographed and identified.
I have recently switched to shooting with an Olympus TG-6 and a Backscatter MF-2 strobe.
My naturalist areas of expertise are in Heterobranch seaslugs of the Western Atlantic and the marine life of Bermuda.
