Hey there, my name is Min Min!

In my younger years, I studied biology (mainly botany and wildlife ecology) at Western University (2006) and spent some time working for Friends of the Rouge Watershed in Toronto, Ontario. Currently I am a high school math and science teacher in Waterloo Region and lately I've been learning how to identify fungi. I am still very much a beginner when it comes to IDing mushrooms so please correct me if I'm wrong!

I also love learning about taxonomy and etymology of species names, so feel free to share your facts, resources and stories.

I am currently a member of Waterloo Region Nature as well as a member of the Mycological Society of Toronto.
