I became strongly interested in birds after giving my father a hummingbird feeder as a gift. Since then, I've earned my MS in biology focusing on songbirds and worked 3 seasons with the NPS. This sparked my interest in insects/spiders and plants. I enjoy paying attention to the minute details and creatures that most people completely overlook.
