An extremely dedicated graduate student pursuing an M.S. in biology, concentrating in plant ecology and evolution. I'm studying the native California plant and rocky outcrop endemic Arabis blepharophylla (coast rock cress; Brassicaceae) to understand why it has a restricted range.

By the time I graduated from USF with a B.S. in biology and a concentration in ecology, I spent two and a half years working as an undergraduate researcher in a plant ecology and evolution lab wherein we studied the molecular phylogenetics of the diverse pan-tropical plant genus Psychotria (Rubiaceae), focusing on the endemic Hawaiian species, as well as the population genetics and climatic niches of the California native plant Mimulus cardinalis (Phrymaceae).
