Retired from the Alberta Government after 35 years as a Forest Officer and Wildfire specialist. Moved to Lethbridge in July 2008 after retiring. I've always been a naturalist at heart and notice most things living. Birds and nature photography are my two main outdoor activities. Over the years, I've done a lot of gardening and learned as much as I could about companion planting, gardening in small spaces and container gardening. I've developed my yard to be bird, butterfly and pollinator friendly, especially with native and/or low maintenance flowers, shrubs and tree. I am a long-time eBirder and just recently joined iNaturalist.
