Forest Engineer from the University of Chile graduated in 1976, botanical expert, specialist in native orchids and flora of Chile in general with emphasis on the center of the country and the archipelago of the Juan Fernandez islands. He worked intermittently at CONAF (Forest Service of Chile) between 1979 and 2019. I was Head of the Horticulture Department of the National Botanical Garden of Chile between 2003 and 2015.
