I did my PhD in Molecular Biology and worked for several years on studies of protein biosynthesis machinery in Eukaryota and Archaea.
Previously I had experience in entomology (mostly with Dermaptera) and palaeoentomology (Meganisoptera of Permian period).
I am helping here with identification of Dermaptera species, especially in the Palearctic region (from Portugal to Japan), where I have most knowledge, but also may help with ID for earwigs in other regions as Indostan, South Africa and Australia.
