Has an interest in species level biodiversity conservation. Works towards improving knowledge of species distribution and abundance and assessing the conservation priority of plant species. Trying to capture unknown elements of plant species biodiversity. Discovering new species, having them described, assessing their conservation status, listing on threatened species legislation if appropriate. Looking to ensure investment in Threatened Plant Species is directed to the species most in need.

I enjoy photographing wildflowers, and I am working on 2 books, Wildflowers of the Gibraltar Range, and Wildflowers of the Clarence Sandstones Subregion.

Trying to devote time to learning bryophytes a very neglected group of plants.
