The summer of 2020 I started participating in a community project called Shutterbee led by Nicole Miller-Struttmann from Webster University. The goal was to observe the diversity of native bees in backyard habitats to contribute to conservation practices.
This got me using iNaturalist whether I'm in my backyard or in the wilderness, and it has really enriched my outdoor experiences.
