The Most Number of Species:
Note that these totals include only amphibians which were observed during the month of October, not the entire Race so far.

@chunxingwong - 36 species
@dominickay - 29 species
@birdtan - 28 species
@adiyy92 - 16 species
@faim1306 - 11 species

Notes from Judges:
The panel of judges were most impressed with the submissions, making judging a challenge. They would like to remind all Racers that images need to be taken of undisturbed frogs: subjects should not be relocation or stressed. If in doubt, Racers are requested to refer to the Rules and Regulations of the Race.

Thanks for participating this month and keep up with the amazing observations of Bornean amphibians!

Important Notification from the Panel of Judges, 9th International Bornean Frog Race

We thank participants of the 9th International Bornean Frog Race, an international event spanning all nations on the island of Borneo. The Race started on 1st September 2021 and ended on the midnight of 19th November 2021. As we speak, the Race period is now over. We thank the keen and sporting spirit shown by the participants, resulting in thousands of images, representing scores of species, many of them exceptional.

Your Panel of Judges are currently hard at work, evaluating your submissions. The process will take time, and we hope to come up with the shortlist, and eventually, the names of winners in the days to come. Participants may note that species names, as listed on the iNaturalist platform, under the Bornean Frog Race Project, are subject to change, as our amphibian specialists examine the images and sometimes debate their identities.

Also, in order to review the validity of the observations, properties of the iNaturalist project to be switched so that the hidden coordinates can be viewed by the panel of judges. Rest assured that the coordinates will remain unrevealed to public if you wish the same.

During the above said processes, participants may be asked further information on or to grant admins access to specific observations and/or original photos for review (please refer to the Rules), or and request these be provided as quickly as possible.

Once again, we thank you for your participation at the 9th International Bornean Frog Race, and to seeing you at the Closing Ceremony, to be held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, on 1 December 2021.

Bravo and Well Done to the Winners, for their outstanding submissions for Best Photo and for the Most Number of Species observed in November.
