Alaska Botany Bioblitz Virtual Finale and deadline for identifications

Join the Alaska Native Plant Society for a virtual finale of the 2022 Alaska Botany Bioblitz! We'll provide an overview of the results, and you'll have a chance to share a quick story about your bioblitz experience.

We'll also announce the winners of the prize categories. Prizes will be awarded to the individuals with the most observations, the widest geographic extent of observations, the greatest number of identifications, the most individual species, and the best research grade photo. You do not need to attend the virtual finale to be awarded a prize. However, to be awarded a prize you need to be a member of the project in iNaturalist. Note that prizes will be based on the original July 1-15 bioblitz dates.

The deadline for identifications is Sunday August 14. The virtual finale will be held on MONDAY, AUGUST 15, 2022 AT 7 PM – 8 PM ADST via Google Meet. Request the meeting link for the finale from ak-botany-bioblitz-2022@aknps.org.
